LWelcome Back to School!
Fall 2022. With the pandemic behind us, we are now accepting the fact that many students' math abilities are not where we hoped they would be. We teachers at the elementary level are fortunate to start our young students using a hands-on approach. We use every opportunity to put the math materials in the students' hands. Be it cubes, base ten blocks, clocks, number lines, dice, or shapes, to name a few, students grasp the concept when they can manipulate to math tools. Thus the name, manipulatives.
My goal for all students is to build a confidence in their own mathematical abilities. As they progress to each new grade we want them to be better equipped to successfully approach math in front of them. With a positive attitude to engage all students, an enthusiastic love of math, and to celebrate all learners, I remain focused on making math fun and exciting as we roll out all the new strategies in each grade level. .
I have created a new page full of helpful links to make the learning accessible. The worksheet link has been updated with many useable printable documents. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of each page. Here you will find many ideas, activities, and pages to print out . Want to hear a story told by celebrities or authors? Scroll down and choose Storyline Online. Be well, be safe, and do some math every day!

People read for many reasons. So when someone recommends a good book, there has to be a common thread between the suggester and the potentional reader. There are a variety of reasons to spend time with a book, whether it is to stimulate your mind, encourage a new way of thinking, or for pure entertainment. Here are my current recommendations.
